I have really enjoyed my Brazilian experience! I am so sad it's over! My host family is so nice and I am going to miss them so much. The girls at Minas are really funny and it feels like I’ve known them forever.
Bruna, Sarah and I got along so well. I wish I could’ve learned some more Portuguese so I could’ve been able to communicate more with people.
I have had the time of my life here. Brazil is very different from the U.S. The funniest parts of the trip were messing around at Minas Tenis Clube and people coming up to me speaking Portuguese because they thought I was a local and I would just smile awkwardly and shake my head. I really like Brazil and I want to come back ASAP.
